About MOVE
Why MOVE exists.
Crossroad MOVE exists to make space for meaningful counseling within real life. It brings conversation, intentional movement, and practical action together for teens and adults navigating stress, relationships, identity, and change.
Human connection. Practical change.
MOVE combines evidence-informed counseling, outdoor movement, practical reflection, and measurable action. The golf course is not the treatment and these are not golf lessons; it is an intentional setting where clients can slow down, notice patterns, talk honestly, and rehearse different responses.
Care is collaborative, culturally responsive, and grounded in the whole person—not a single symptom or score.
Skills are explored in motion and connected to the pressures, choices, and relationships of everyday life.
Brief measures, reflection, and real-world goals help clients and therapists decide what is working and what should change.

Meet the MOVE Therapists
Crossroad MOVE is designed as a shared method that can grow with carefully selected therapists. Every clinician will work within the same core framework while bringing their own training, lived experience, and professional perspective.

Before you begin
Frequently asked questions
Understand the experience, practical details, and what to review before enrolling.
How do I get started?
Book a free 15-minute consultation. We will discuss your goals, clinical fit, location, and Sunday availability. If we determine MOVE is an appropriate fit, we will share enrollment, payment, and session-booking details.
When is payment due?
Payment is collected upfront after fit is confirmed and before your scheduled services begin. You will receive the total price, payment schedule, and enrollment terms before paying. Monthly pricing starts at $795 and varies depending on location.
What if I need to cancel or reschedule?
Contact Crossroad MOVE as soon as you know you cannot attend. Notice requirements, late-cancellation or missed-session fees, and rescheduling options are provided in your written enrollment agreement before payment. Please review those terms before reserving sessions.
Can I receive a refund?
Refund eligibility is reviewed under the written terms you receive before enrollment, taking into account services already delivered and any applicable reserved-course costs. If you believe you are eligible, contact us to request a review. A refund is not automatic; any approved amount and processing details will be confirmed with you.
What happens if weather affects a session?
Outdoor sessions depend on heat, rain, lightning, daylight, and course conditions. Your therapist will coordinate a timing change or rescheduling when needed. Weather-related arrangements and any course charges will be discussed before a new booking is confirmed.
What if I have a medical condition or mobility limitation?
Discuss relevant health needs, mobility, and outdoor comfort during the consultation and through your clinician’s designated intake process. We will consider whether the setting is appropriate and what adjustments may be possible. Ask your medical provider about activity restrictions when needed. Do not send sensitive medical details through a public website or community forum.
Where do sessions take place?
MOVE is based in Central Florida. Additional locations are considered individually based on clinical appropriateness, availability, and logistics. The course, meeting point, and any additional fees are agreed before booking. The Orlando business address is not the automatic session location.
Are sessions only on Sundays?
In-person MOVE sessions take place on Sundays. This protected time supports focus and reflection before the week begins. Start times vary with weather, daylight, and course availability; your confirmed time is communicated in advance.
Do I need golf experience?
No. MOVE is counseling in a golf-course setting, not golf instruction. Movement and pacing are considered in relation to your needs and counseling goals.
Can I use insurance or request a superbill?
MOVE is private pay. A superbill may be provided for eligible therapeutic services, separate from golf, meals, or other nonclinical costs. Contact your insurer about your benefits; reimbursement is not guaranteed.
What happens after the 90 days?
You and your therapist review progress and create an individual continuation plan. Ask about available app access, MOVE Circle webinars, the member forum, connections, and events. Ongoing access and any additional fees are confirmed individually.
Can teens participate?
Teen participation is considered individually during consultation. We discuss developmental fit, parent or guardian involvement, consent, confidentiality, and whether this setting is appropriate before enrollment.
